Bridal Market 2013 Recap: Color!

If you saw my post last week, you know that I started recapping Bridal Market 2013, looking for the most recent trends. Today I'm going to focus on one of the most stand-out trends that I saw throughout many collections this year - the use of color! And we're not talking shades of off-white like ivory and cream...designers were sending vibrant shades of reds, pinks and even greens down the aisle! Here are a few of my favorite gowns from this trend. Would you be bold enough to rock one on your big day?

Ian Stuart

Blue was one of the colors that many designers opted to use in their Fall 2014 collections. This is a great option for brides looking to use the color trend without straying too far from the classic white.

Lazaro

Designer Lazaro Perez also used blue, but in bolder, darker shades in this patterned gown.

Monique Lhuillier

Monique Lhuillier designed a lovely lavender-gray gown with an intricately-patterned bodice and ruffled skirt.

Theia

For a classic bride with a bit of an edge, this Theia gold gown is a stunning show-stopper!

Vera Wang

One of the most stand-out uses of color this season (and one of my personal favorites!) was by Vera Wang, who used different shades of pinks and purples in her collection. I love the femininity of this ballgown!
