DIY: Pumpkin Keg

Am I the only one who's bummed that Summer is over? It seems like everyone is talking about how excited they are for boots weather and pumpkin-flavored drinks and the holiday season (okay, obviously I'm excited for the last one too!). I've never been a huge fan of the pumpkin flavor, but I recently had a pumpkin-flavored beer that was surprisingly (or maybe just surprising to me) really yummy!

So today, when I stumbled across a DIY watermelon keg, it made me think two things: 1. I miss the heck out of Summer; 2. I bet we could do this same thing with a pumpkin. Of course I wasn't the first person to think of that, and one quick google search later, I found this great video from Celebrations that makes creating your own pumpkin keg look so easy! This would be great for a Fall bridal shower or wedding cocktail hour! And I love the idea of using a beer that's already extremely Fall-oriented to really blend some great flavors together.

I, for one, can not wait to try this. Would you use a pumpkin keg at your wedding event?
